English: Book reports are winding up. Next week we spend more time in improving our writing!
Math: Our addition focus in math shifts to subtraction this week.
Religion: Still exploring the New Testament. ....books, chapters, verses
Art: Friday there will be an art project....keep up the good work sketching!

Wednesday already...

Time is flying ...

Yesterday in the afternoon we worked on a Halloween inspired art project, Calaveras.  Ask your child all about it if they didn't tell you already! The kids did an amazing job of drawing and decorating skulls.  I had some skull shapes ready to trace but encouraged them all to do their own. Wonderful Job! Not a single traced skull!

We head to the computer lab this afternoon in order to get some fun math practice going.  Keep practising your numbers, adding them, saying them, playing with them! If you have a deck of cards at home, put them on the kitchen table and play if you have a moment :)
